4. Filing the Proposed Name of Company For Approval to TheRegistrarof Companies (ROC)-

According to Section-4(4) of The Companies Act,2013 person can make an application to propose the name of the company to beregistered with such forms and manner accompanied by fees of Rs. 1,000/- to bepaid, as may be prescribed, to the Registrar for the reservation of a name setout in the application.

According to Rule No.-9 of Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014 reservation ofthe name can be made by an application for the reservation of a name shall bemade in

Form No. INC.1 along with the fee as provided in the Companies (Registrationoffices and fees) Rules, 2014 to the Registrar of Companies (ROC) in theState/Union Territory in which the company will maintain its Registered Office.

According to Section-4(5) of The Companies Act, 2013 the application submittedto the registrar will be reserved for a period of 60 days to check and verifythe document and information furnished along with the application.
